Welcome to the enTune Spirit.
I feel… overwhelmed. I have this big white screen in front of me, a million thoughts running through my head, but nothing manifesting through my fingers the way I want it to.
The feeling of overwhelmed has a frequency, an emotional vibration point.
On the emotional guidance scale, overwhelmed is towards the bottom middle of the scale.
As I raise my frequency I may start to feel irritated at not being able to keep up with my thoughts as I type.
Farther up I may start to feel hopeful that what I am typing is going to be coherent and somewhat insightful.
As I get into the flow I may get to be eager or passionate about what I am conveying. Once I get to passionate or joy I know I am getting to the top of the emotional guidance scale, and I am vibrating closer to coherence.
If I allow my frequency to drift lower I may start to feel disappointed that I am not doing something I told myself I would. Then I may start to doubt myself and knowledge. Eventually I could become angry with myself or the blog and just throw my hands up.
I would then end up feeling insecure and guilty, and could plummet into fear or depression.
It is not possible to go from overwhelmed to joy or overwhelmed to fear without passing through the frequencies of the other emotions. But, if the energy channels are clear, passing through the emotional guidance system can be easy and fun.
So I am sitting in overwhelm, what do I do.
An analogy that I will probably use over an over, until I make it a post of it’s own, is water.
Water at room temperature is liquid. If you remove heat it slows down and gets thicker and then forms ice. If you add heat it starts to get bubbly and then eventually forms steam.
Our emotions are kinda like water in a way. If we add energy, we can move up the guidance scale. If we let our energy dissipate, we can move down. This is one reason exercise, dancing, movement, can get us out of a rut.
The key is, for us to be effective, we need to take action. Taking action is putting our energy in motion and allowing our manifestations to bring forth. It is identify and following the inspired action that brings transformational change into our lives, and helps us raise our vibrational frequency to joy and love.
So tonight, as I sat in overwhelmed, I convinced myself to take an action, just start typing. I start by describing what I felt.
Now I am no longer in overwhelm, I am in appreciation, accomplishment, and freedom. At least concerning this effort.
